Free Counseling
A typical recipient of free services receives six counseling sessions, during which they establish three treatment plan goals!
Weekly Sessions
Attend weekly sessions to address those goals and design an independent continuation plan prior to completion.
Low Cost Help
Clients are given the option to continue services on a scholarship basis of $10 to $25 per session, based on financial ability.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Marriage & Family Counseling
Marriage and family therapists offer guidance to couples, families and groups who are dealing with issues that affect their mental health and well-being. Many therapists approach their work holistically, using a “wellness” model (as opposed to an “illness” one) which highlights and encourages client’s strengths.
Workshops & Support Groups
People in group therapy improve not only from the interventions of the therapist, but also from observing others in the group and receiving feedback from group members. The group format, while not providing the one-on-one attention of individual formats, has several advantages.
